IMPORTANT NOTICE: One Book Becomes Two
We've re-issued the Clarion Tips & Techniques book as two books, titled Clarion 5.x Tips & Techniques Volume 1 and Volume 2. If you have the original Tips & Techniques book, you already have everything in these two new books and you do not need the new editions. Of course, if you want them anyway, we'll happily take your money.
I can hear you asking, "If nothing's changed, why split the book up and change the title?" It's true that there's no new content. But there are several good reasons for the re-issue. One, nicer formatting, which makes the text easier to read. Two, a slimmer volume (both are 300+ pages, the original tips book is over 600 pages) is easier to handle, cheaper, and costs less to ship (okay, overall cost is pretty much the same if you want both, but this way there's a lower-cost option if you want to start with just one book). Three, we have more tips books on the way (Clarion 6 Tips & Techniques is available now), and we wanted to make it clearer which version of Clarion each book addresses. Of course, many of the techniques described in the Clarion 5.x books are applicable to Clarion 6 and beyond
